Pre-QC is QC Tool’s AI-powered automated file analysis system. It runs before human review, catching technical and compliance issues early.
How it works
- Files uploaded to the batch
- Pre-QC queue picks up the files
- AI vision model analyses each file
- Results written back to the file record
- Pre-QC tab shows results with confidence scores
Check types

Result severity
| Level | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Pass | No issues found |
| Warning | Minor issue — worth reviewing |
| Fail | Critical issue — needs correction |
Low-confidence findings are automatically downgraded to Warning level to reduce false positives. Warnings are informational — the file will not be automatically failed.
Feedback to agencies
When Pre-QC finds issues, coordinators can send Pre-QC feedback to the agency before human QC begins. Early corrections via Pre-QC feedback do not consume a resupply round.
